Is there a difference between "design" and "development"? Good question! It seems some companies don't think so, but at DANIMA we realize that these are 2 important, but seperate parts of a successful web project.
Custom Site Design:
All of DANIMA's site design is custom. That means, we do not use templates or "wizzy-wig" products to come up with design of your web site. At DANIMA we take care to create a site that is reflective of your company's current branding, as well as having the look and feel that best suits your company's personality and individual sector. Wether you are in the Accommodations industry or you are a Performing Artist, DANIMA's talented design staff will work with you to get the look and feel that you require to create you the most powerful marketing tool you have in today's Net E-conomy!
Site/System Development:
@ DANIMA we look at your web site as a system. Wether it is a 5 page web site or a 200 page web site with the full gamit of functionality that DANIMA has to offer, your web site is a system, or rather a tool, for you to gather information and data from your clients/customers and visitors. As well, it is a tool for you to interact with your clients/customers and visitors allowing them to access specific information, submit information and do business with you!
We develop all of our sites from SCRATCH! We do not use "wizzy-wig" products, such as Front Page or Dreamweaver. That's not to say we don't apprreciate those products for what they can do, however, in completely customizing your web system, we require complete flexibility that can only be found in the creation of the site code in house. All of our sites are built with HTML, CSS, Flash and PHP with the occassionaly use of Javascript, PERL and ASP. The DANIMA programming team utilize MySQL for all of our database development, however, we do work with SQL if required.
So, you see, these 2 areas are completely, seperate parts of the whole project. The DANIMA programming team work closely with the design team to make sure the client not only gets the look they require but that the over-all appearance of the site meshes with the system functionality!
